Fantastic place to stay! Highly recommend! Very secluded, very peaceful, crazy beautiful view, spacious front yard, loved the fireplace, shower was perfect! At night you can see the stars so clearly. 15-20 min drive to nearest shops. We would definitely come back here again!!

Hi Tony,

What a simply beautiful place you have there - peace personified. The house is lovely and excellently equipped.

The forecast was for a considerable amount of rain but we were blessed with glorious weather apart from a little rain as we were driving there. Consequently we spent much time sitting on the veranda and having breakfast and lunch out there. Wrens, swallows,  black cockatoos, many honeyeaters, a grey shrike thrush and an eagle kept us company. We were impressed with the bank of shrubbery behind the house - a lovely mixture and providing total privacy. We hiked the Moonlight track at Mt Worth - what a climb back up to the ridge! Saw and heard lots of lyre birds. More walks along Grand Ridge Road and a nice chat with Carol and her two Jack Russells.

Best of all was the glorious view with its ever changing colours and shadows, early morning mist in the valley, and during the night mist right up to the edge of the lawn, and a night sky to behold. We each had some work to do and Katherine needed some space to sort out job issues, so it was a perfect environment for us to relax and talk things through. It was just lovely.

It is quite something to let your own home to strangers, so we do thank you very much for sharing your special place. It's high on the agenda for another visit as is Flinders Island.

Hi Tony

Just arrived home after our wonderful 3 nights at Grand Ridge. The house was a delight and the serenity much needed. The views were amazing and we spent many an hour watching as they changed. The weather was perfect for us. Two days of bright blue sky and two days cloudy with rain - so we got the best of both worlds. 

We will definitely be back at some stage. And now have your Flinders Island property on our "one day" list. 

I hope you also get to spend time at grand ridge when you aren't working. It must be  a wonderful place to retreat to.

Hi Tony

We have settled in at home now (with difficulty after our visit to your amazing property). 

We were transfixed by the view, from anywhere, from the front veranda, from the lawn, or inside looking out. I usually read a lot when I am away but this time I would take my book outside for a read only to find myself some time later staring at the view without a word read.

We have stayed at quite a few B&B's in the area, but yours takes the cake.

Thank you very much for sharing Grand Ridge with us.

We totally loved the gorgeous sweeping view, cozy wood burner and some local wine and cheese. Everything was smooth going, no dramas, and we had such a peaceful, relaxing an restful time, which is a real luxury when your default life is a hectic one in the city. Beautiful region too. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

Well thank you for a delightful stay. Tom really enjoyed your fabulous views, privacy and comfortable get-away for his birthday. Me too. Tom and I have stayed at two other places in West Gippsland in the past 18 months. We enjoy the area and its proximity for 'after work access', and both BnB's were great so it is why Tom had suggested the area again for his birthday celebration. I asked him last night which of the three he would choose to return to and he said without a doubt yours. So it was a great hit.

Our brief stay at the Grand Ridge was beautiful and peaceful. 
I would like to congratulate you both on such a well maintained and pleasurable accommodation.
It was extremely easy to find and everything was there to make our stay easy and carefree.
We unfortunately did not get to see any Koalas but did however have a very nice chat to a couple of cows, very inquisitive bunch of bulls they are and there were a lot of chatty birds. The weather was good but I was really hoping for a clear night to bring in the fog in the morning but alas it was not to be.
We can’t wait to return to the Grand Ridge during winter, hopefully while there is a snow dump as I am sure the hills and valley will look amazing.
Once again thank you as I know it was all on very short notice. But it really worked out well for us as the accommodation we would normally go to was book out and with that we were able to find this little piece of beauty. Your property is now on our top 3 romantic getaways.

We are looking forward to staying at Grand Ridge again, we have stayed at many holiday houses around Vic. and although some say they are set in a private location, they never seem to deliver the peace and quite and solitude that we experienced at Grand Ridge last time this is one of the main reasons we are returning.

Well to quote a famous line "Ah the Serenity".
We immediately felt ourselves relax when walking in the door - the scenery was just superb, even when there was no view due to fine misty rain. Just loved the absolute quietness and the fire and thoroughly enjoyed only listening to birds and the occasional moo.
We will definitely recommend the property to others.
